Step 4: Database Information

Step 1: Witnessing

To begin with, a qualified Paid Authentic representative will personally witness your autograph signing/event so there will never be any question or doubt about the authenticity of the signatures. By actually witnessing each and every signing we can therefore give our absolute and unconditional guarantee of authenticity. Your Paid Authentic representative will also record and document any and all important information associated with the signing/event such as the date, location, and promoter(s) of the event, as well as any specific inscriptions signed by the athlete(s) or celebrities featured at the event. This data will then be entered into our secure website/database and this vital, detailed signing information will be accessible by you and your customers via the web compatible COA system 24 hours a day; 365 days a year.

Step 2: Hologram Labeling

Each witnessed item is now affixed with a tamper-proof, non-transferable, Paid Authentic hologram that features an item exclusive serial number. The serial number listed on the hologram precisely matches the barcode number found on the issued Certificate of Authenticity, allowing for a quick visual check – or on-line verification – of the item’s unquestionable authenticity.

Step 3: Certificate of Authenticity

Paid Authentic then issues a premier, state-of-the-art Certificate of Authenticity to accompany each approved item. A full, detailed description of the autographed item will appear on each COA card so you will immediately know who signed the item and for that matter, what the item is. The description will also indicate if a given athlete/celebrity has included any inscriptions. Each card will also feature a photograph of the actual item. Next is the item exclusive/unique barcode number located on the back of all Paid Authentic COA cards. The barcode number matches the serial number listed on the hologram that is attached to the item for which the COA is issued. This barcode number supplies an additional level of security and proven authenticity and can also be used to easily access vital extended information about your autographed item - or Paid Authenticated piece of memorabilia - via the online COA database.

Step 4: Database Information

The Paid Authentic database contains extended information about every item authenticated by Paid Authentic. Included is such information as: the date, year, and location that the autograph signing and/or event took place as well as details on the event promoter and enhanced pictures/photographs. This information can be obtained by entering the unique barcode/hologram number into the Paid Authentic website database.
